Advantages and Innovations: The novelty of the present technology is based on the fact that the process of local contact solid-liquid melting is used to make protective metal coating on the current-conductive surfaces of contacts. In the course of this process, a reaction of solid metal of a contact piece with the applied low-melting alloy takes place at a temperature below the temperature of autonomous melting of solid metal. The appearing metal coating differs in physical and chemical characteristics from the material of the contact piece and from the applied low-melting alloy. The main advantages of the technology are: 1. Metal coatings can be obtained on the contact surfaces of any materials applied for the contact production (steel, copper, aluminum and their alloys). 2. Metal coatings allow stabilizing the value of the contact electrical resistance for all types of contact devices during the entire service period. 3. Reduction of the electrical resistance of contact connections with a metal surface, depending on the material of the contact piece: aluminum-aluminum (Al-Al) – up to 10 times; aluminum-copper (Al-Cu) – up to 3 times; copper-copper (Cu-Cu) – up to 1,5-2 times. 4. Applied alloys allow to enhance the durability of working surfaces of the contact parts in the moving contact connections. 5. Metal coatings can operate in the aggressive environment inside the production building and in open spaces at the temperature from -40 C to +500 C. 6. The method of metal coating production is environmentally-friendly; the required low-melting alloys are not active and do not contain toxic or precious metals. 7. The coating process is performed at the heating temperature of contact surface below 100C and does not require application of special equipment.

Description of the offer: A Russian company from Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk region) specialised in developing technology for enhancing the reliability and efficiency of contact connections in power electric equipment. Millions of contact connections are being used in the electric power industry and at the industrial plants. Most of them function without any contact surface protection and stabilization of contact resistance. For protecting current-conducting surfaces, tinning and silvering technologies and various conductive greases are applied. However, application techniques of tin-based and silver surfaces (plated coating, tinning, electro-sparking and plasma-spraying) involve either utilization of special equipment or heating up to high temperatures. In the maintenance conditions at the operating electric equipment, it complicates or eliminates their applicability. Current-conducting greases, despite their simplicity and ease of application, are coatings of short duration and usually do not provide significant improvement of contact connections’ characteristics. The Russian company developed a technology that allows decreasing the contact electrical resistance up to 10 times in the adjustable and moving contact connections. The technology reduces the electric power loss and heating in these connections and gives a unique possibility of direct connection of copper and aluminum contact parts without pad welds or embedments. An important feature of the technology is that for implementation of the protection, the contact surfaces are heated below 100C, and no special complex equipment is required. Therefore, the technology can be used in the conditions of operating production (field conditions). The offered technology can be applied in the operation of electric equipment at manufacturing plants, distribution centres of power supply networks, power plants and at the electric equipment manufactures. The company is looking for partners to conclusion technical cooperation agreement, license agreement and services agreement. Partner's role of this cooperation: 1. Take part in the testings and implementation of the technology in the production of a partner. 2.Participate in the research process of technology optimization. 3.
