Description of the offer: A Russian company from Chelyabinsk specializes in the engineering services related to the automation of the production processes and the increase of the energy efficiency of the industrial enterprises and the housing and utilities infrastructure has developed a new design of a ball-gage cock (valve) with an automatic actuating device which allow to control the coolant flow. Currently, ball valves are mainly used as cut-out fitments. The use of ball valves for controlling the flow of heat transfers is limited due to the rapid excessive wear of the elements of the cock and the unsatisfactory flow characteristics when the cock is half opened. To improve the reliability of the cock integral joints, the constructions of the aligning ball valves with high metal content of alloy steels are used. A fundamentally new modification of the cut-out ball valve with an originally designed ball-stopper is proposed. The ball-stopper is made of two thin-walled concentric shells that make up an integral whole. The outer shell is cut-out, the thickness is 0.5-3 mm - made of the rust resisting steel, the interior is regulating, the thickness is up to 10 mm (depending on the size of the cock) – made of the structural steel. The fluid passes through the parallel hole. The coolant flow is automatically controlled by the electronic control package in dependence on the outdoor temperature and the room temperature. The realized solutions eliminate turbulence and cavitating occurrence. The flow characteristic of the cock is approximate to the linear characteristic. The gate sealability is maintained. This dramatically lowers the metal consumptions of the rust resisting steels used in the construction of the ball-stopper (1.5 times compared to the single layer-metal analogues). The company is looking for partners within the framework of the manufacturing agreement. The cock and other elements design is carried out by the Russian company. Expected that the partner will help to creat an industrial prototype using their capacity and help provide the serial production of the device.
