Advantages and Innovations: The novelty of the proposed energy storage construction lies in the separation of high-temperature plates and segments module and also generator module where the inner cavity is vacuumized up to high degree discharge. It allows to reduce the resistance in flywheel rotary mode resulting from gas medium existence within the hull. Proposed innovative solution gives a variety of advantages like: - reducing fuel consumption and equipment wear rate by means of friction force reduction in the vacuum; - reliability growth of electrical power supply; - maintaining of output-input ratio of turbine generators by peak ratings regulation; - compact equipment.

Description of the offer: The company from Chelyabinsk region has developed the kinetic energy storage device in the form of packaged unit-module. Along with the growth of quantitative index of energy security, quality index of energy use at different stages of its conversion plays more and more crucial role. A significant role in these issues solution is given to energy storage system that is an important intermediate link between generation and distributor & energy consumption systems. The accumulation of charge in the device is based on the effect of high temperature superconductivity. The optimum shape and the construction of the component parts of the device are determined by methods of mathematic simulation and semi-realistic testing. The hull consists of cryostat module with superconductive segments/plates placed within and generator module with high degree of internal vacuuming. Made of two modules storage hull performance (alternatively to its analogies) allows to optimize the solution of two interdependent problems: - to vacuumize the inner cavity of the flywheel; - to improve cooling efficiency of superconductive segments/plates. The implementation of such a device allows to achieve the following tasks: - energy wastage of electrical power network up to 30% reduction; - uninterrupted power supply maintenance of high-security objects; - development of high-speed electric transport technologies. Under the technical cooperation agreement the author of the technology creates computer modeling and selection of optimal design of all the component of the device (materials of plates, rotor, nitrogen cryostat, vacuum system etc.) with application of supercomputer technologies and designs fundamental functional scheme. A partner should conduct comprehensive tests of developed device and estimate its efficiency and operational characteristics. After completion of the project the partner should certify the device in accordance with the requirements of the European Union. The expected result is the creation the box version of the product for the foreing markets.
