Description of the offer: A Polish University has invented a method of synthesis of mixed-cation borohydrides, which results in chemically pure, non-solvated products. The synthesis is based on solvent-mediated metathetic reactions of the precursors containing weakly coordinating anions and bulky organic cations. While the former are available commercially, the latter are easily prepared from the available chemicals. The final product is purified with the use of solvent (e.g. dichloromethane). University is looking for partners willing to establish cooperation under license, commercial or manufacturing agreement.
