Advantages and Innovations: Ceramic PEO coatings have a dense microcrystalline structure and possess a high adhesion and cohesion strength. PEO coatings successfully withstand vibrations, impact loads and thermal cycling loads. PEO coatings are chemically inert. The corrosion resistance of PEO coatings is 1.5 times as high as the corrosion resistance of stainless steel 316 (the corrosion tests were carried out by the gravimetric method in a solution of 3% lactic acid). The wear resistance in abrasive wear of PEO coatings exceeds that of stainless steel 40–50-fold.

Description of the offer: The Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) process is oxidation of base metal (aluminium, titanium or magnesium) and creation of a protective oxide ceramic coating on its surface. The PEO process is performed in weakly alkaline electrolytes at voltages of 400–900 V. The temperature of electrolyte does not exceed 15°C. The company has developed a new third-generation PEO process, which significantly differs from the known commercial PEO processes (Kepla-Coat, Keronite, Altim). The developed technology is patented and has achieved higher production efficiency (2--3 fold) and higher quality of the coating. The new PEO process makes it possible to obtain smooth (Ra 0.4–0.7 µm) coatings of uniform thickness, strongly adhering to base metal, with micro hardness HV 1100–1500. The main features of the new ceramic coating are: • the absence of the outer defect process layer • in oxidation, the ceramic layer only grows into the metal; the initial size of the oxidized workpiece remains invariable. This new technology could be applied in many industries including Aviation and Space Industry, Automotive Industry, Printing Industry, Military and Defense Industry, Medicine, Power Engineering and Water Supply as well as in Gas and Oil industry.
