Description of the offer: A Polish scientist has developed a method of reinforcement of wooden beams using fiber composite in the form of carbon or glass mat. The fibrous composite (FRP, Fiber Reinforced Polymer) has already been used as an external reinforcement for concrete and steel structures. The described reinforcement technology is based on the tapes or mats of glass and carbon fibers sticked to the most intensely loaded parts of the construction. Reinforcement can be done by sticking to the surface of the side-reinforced tape or mat, positioned perpendicularly or obliquely to the fibers. The innovative aspect of the proposed solution is that it combines continuous reinforcement of the composite mat over the entire length of the beams. Fibrous composites reinforcement results in more rigidity, reliable improvement, and an increase in load capacities. The offered technology is dedicated to construction manufacturers and construction companies from Russia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The prospective partner should be able to produce construction elements based on offered technology under the license or as a joint venture partner where the scientist provides the developed technology. Partner's task is to implement the solution. Long term joint venture and license agreement are sought.
