Description of the offer: A SME located in the south of Germany has developed an automated solar panel cleaning system which functions automatically or manually without detergents or chemicals. The system can be efficiently used especially in regions with high dust pollution. Thus an entire voltaic park can be cleaned within a very short period of time e.g. after a sandstorm. The water consumption for a cleaning cycle amounts to about 1,5 – 2 l per kWp. This can be explained because of cleaning during the night and the nozzles do not touch the solar panels, but are very tight above them. This cleaning system can also be used in winter when the solar panels are covered by snow. In this case the system cleans the panels like a snowplough also without touching the glass. The yield always depends on several criteria such as location, height and inclination of the solar system. E. g. in the south of Spain a reference project has a yield of up to 22 % because of its general location and weather conditions. The system can comprise a breadth of up to 45 meters and can be fixed onto panels of any size. The company is looking for partners being interested in entering into a commercial agreement with technical cooperation or a licensing agreement.
